Prof. Eytan Gilboa, President and Academic Director
Prof. Eytan Gilboa is a renowned expert on international communication, public diplomacy and US policy in the Middle East. Widely published, he is a regular commentator on these topics for international media and has won numerous international fellowships and awards.
Prof. Gilboa founded the School of Communication and the Center for International Communication at Bar-Ilan University in Israel, and served as the first director of both.
He received his MA and PhD in Government from Harvard University and a BA in Political Science and International Relations from the Hebrew University. He has been a visiting professor at several leading American and European universities and research institutes.

Sharon Evans, Director of Project Development
Sharon Evans’ vision was to establish a forum for civic engagement about Israel and the Middle East. A dedicated non-profit professional and advocate for public diplomacy, along with an entrepreneurial spirit, she brings years of experience in strategic planning, brand development, fundraising and innovative projects. Prior to founding IPD, Evans served as spokesperson for the Israel Solidarity Emergency Fund (ISEF)/OneFamily and founded Adopt a Family, a non-profit established to highlight the long lasting effects of global terrorism on victims and their families. In recognition, she was awarded the Key to Las Vegas by Mayor Oscar Goodman. Prior to her founding of IPD Forum, she served as Director of Development for North America at Bar Ilan University.
