The Effects of the Nuclear Deal with Iran on the Balance of Power in the Middle East

The nuclear agreement achieved on July 14, 2015 by Iran with the world’s major powers will enable Iran and its proxy Hezbollah to use subversion and terrorism in the region and beyond with greater freedom, multiplied resources and enhanced aggressiveness. This lecture shall discuss the impact of the nuclear deal on Iran’s quest to gain regional hegemony, the implications for Hezbollah’s strategic position and influence, and the subsequent threat to Israel and other Western countries.
